Route from Portisco to Arbatax (7 days) ITALY

You can also set off from nearby marinas like Pozzo, Olbia, Cannigione or Poltu Quatu.

Day 1
Portrisco - Spargi (approx. 15 NM)

Head to the north of Sardinia, passing the entire Costa Smeralda and visiting the eastern side of the island of Caprera (Cala Cotticio Beach). Then head to the island of Spargi, spend the night at the end of Cala Corsera beach or on the island of Budelli in the heart of La Maddalena National Park.

Day 2
Spargi - Tavolara (approx. 18 NM)

Head south through the islands of Maddalena, Campera, Mortorio and spend time on the island of Tavolara. At the end of the island there are two great restaurants and a bar that serve excellent Mediterranean cuisine and you can spend the night there on the beach.

Day 3
Tavolara - La Calletta (approx. 19 NM)

After exploring the southern part of the island of Tavolara (the largest monolith in Europe 6 km long and 640 m high), head south through the islands of Molara and Punta Coda Cavallo, along Blandishi and San Teodoro, which are famous for the most beautiful beaches in Sardinia to spend time in the port of La Calletta (very well equipped port). Being here It's worth having a meal in the restaurant "Torre", which serves excellent seafood at reasonable prices.

Day 4
La Calletta - Cala Gonone (approx. 21 NM)

Sail farther south along the beaches of La Calletta, the beach and dunes at Cape Camino, the famous beaches of Berchida and Cala Ginepro with breathtaking azure water to reach the beginning of the Gulf of Orosei and spend the night in Cala Gonone.

Day 5
Cala Gonone - Albatrax (approx. 24 NM)

Climb down the Gulf of Orosei to the coast. You can visit the caves of "Bue Marino" or relax on the beautiful beaches of Cala Sasine or Cala Goloritze. This area is considered one of the most fascinating parts of the Mediterranean. Take a trip to the Arbatax marina, and from there take a walk along the beach to the charming town of Santa Maria Navarres (about 5 km).

Day 6
Albatrax - Return to Portisco (approx. 85 NM)

Return to Marina for Thursday evening, because in case of unfavorable weather you will need one day longer. If the weather is favorable, you will find many beautiful places to stop (eg Cala Luna, Bue Marino, Cala Mariolu beach, Cala Sasine, Cala Galoritze or Santu cape, etc.) Don't treat Portisco only as a place where you charter yacht. The charming streets, the friendliness of the inhabitants and the reastaurants make this place a perfect place to say goodbye to Sardinia.
